It is safe to make a reservation with us. Separate cancellation rules apply during COVID-19: Cancellation free of charge* until the day before arrival. Applies in cases of cancellation where the guest knows that they are COVID-19 positive, due to a positive COVID-19 test result, or because they have been required to quarantine due to being COVID-19 positive. Documentation of this is required. Otherwise, there is cancellation/change of reservation without charge* up to 8 days before arrival. Cancellation must be sent in writing to post@trysilhotell.net, titled "Cancellation", and must include the order number from the receipt of the reservation in question. *A cancellation fee of NOK150 will be deducted from the refund if the cancellation occurs within 8 days of arrival.

Yes. In order to access Trysil Hotel and your room, the payment link sent to you must be completed before you arrive.

The code for your room will be sent out between 12:00 and 15:00 on the day you arrive.

No, but the staff at our bakery and café, Kort&Godt, can assist during the day between 8:00 and 17:00 if there are any questions. Our restaurant and brew pub Kveik is open in the evening*, so it is possible to get assistance there. But feel free to call us on +47 979 40 000 and enter 1 if you have any questions.
*Closed Monday–Tuesday some parts of the year. See separate info about Kveik.

Yes, it is possible to make a reservation online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you make a reservation the same day and pay, check-in information and the code will arrive within a few minutes if the reservation is made after 15:00. If you do not have access to the internet, there is a PC in the lobby that can be used.

Yes, we have free parking right outside the hotel. There are also outlets to charge electric cars.

We have two rooms in which pets are allowed. Contact post@trysilhotell.net to check that we have one of these available when you wish to make a reservation.

No. We are located right in the centre of Trysil. It is 2.5km to the ski area, and the ski bus stops right outside the hotel during the winter season.

Trysil Hotel is located near the main street in the centre of Trysil. It is 600m from the bus station.

Yes, just send an e-mail to post@trysilhotell.net and we will extend your stay and send you a payment link.

Yes, we do. The password is “trysilgjest”.

Yes, we have 3 rooms with a sleeper sofa that an adult or two children can sleep on. It costs NOK300 per person per night. This cannot be reserved online at this time. Send a request to post@trysilhotell.net

No, children 0–6 years of age can stay with their parents in the room for free.

Yes, Parken Bistro & Bar.

Not completely. We have a degree of accommodation on the first floor, but there is no lift to the second floor. Bathrooms in the rooms have limited wheelchair access. Please send us an e-mail at post@trysilhotell.net in connection with your reservation if you wish to stay on the first floor.

All rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels, soap and toilet paper. There is a separate room for storing bicycles or skis, bicycle washing and a simple service station for bicycle maintenance. Shoe drying room just inside the entrance door.

Yes, it is. If you stay one night, then the room will be cleaned after you leave. If you stay more than 2 nights, the room will be cleaned every 5 days. Bed linen and towels will be changed, and the room will be cleaned. If you need extra towels before cleaning on the fifth day, please contact post@trysilhotell.net
